Foreign investments in real estate in Montenegro jumped to 463 million euros

In 2023, 463 million euros were invested in real estate, which is about 3% more than in 2022.
Most of the foreign buyers were from Serbia, followed by Russia, Germany, Turkey and the United States. These five countries account for almost 60% of foreign investment in real estate in Montenegro.

"It is also important to note that FDI in real estate in 2023 was the closest to the historical peak reached in 2007," said Darko Djikanovic of the real estate agency Adriatic Appraisal.

The total inflow of foreign direct investment in 2023 amounted to 857 million euros, which is 25% less than in 2022.
